Homework
Homework for all year groups is set weekly.
At KS3 a 30 minute task is set on Sparx.
Sparx automatically adapts to the level of the student and so, if they use the videos for support, they should be able to complete the task in 30 minutes. Support sessions are run on two lunchtimes per week when students can complete the tasks with maths teachers for support.
At KS4 a 30 minute task is set on Sparx. In addition, Year 11 (and Year 10 post Easter) are set a 30 minute exam practice task.
The exam practice task is to get students used to the style of question they will face in their final exams and increases exposure to past questions. Students should seek support from their teacher if there are any questions they are unsure on.
