Remembrance Day 2019

Students and staff from across the school gathered together in The Forum in an act of silent remembrance on Monday 11 November 2019. Miss Putnam read 'Ode of Remembrance' from 'For The Fallen' and Mr Zobkiw played the Last Post.

2019 also commemorates the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War where 80 million people lost their lives.  Our students took time to consider the sacrifices made by people from over 30 countries over the six year conflict.

This year, students took part in making origami poppies which have been displayed in the Library windows and look fantastic.  We will continue with this display over the coming weeks to continue marking our respects.
