Year 8 students have been lucky to experience the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Roadshow organised by BAE Systems, the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy. Staff representing the three organisations presented information to our students on the theme of connecting and sharing data. Having given a brief overview of the work of BAE Systems, the RAF and the Royal Navy, who between them employ over 50,000 engineers, they provided students with an insight into how some of the latest technologies actually work. Thank you to all three organisations for providing students with sessions which were both interactive and informative.
