Last week, seven Year 12 students travelled to the University of Cambridge as part of the Higher Education Plus scheme. Along with students from other schools and colleges in the region, they visited King’s College to sample lectures and seminars, attend applications workshops and meet students currently studying at Cambridge. The visit was led by Mr Robinson, Sixth Form Student Services Manager, who said “This event is designed to make students feel at home in Cambridge. They enjoyed an authentic experience of everyday life for an undergraduate at King’s. I hope that this visit has given them the ambition and the confidence to apply to study at the country’s most competitive institutions after Sixth Form.”
