House Pastoral Manager
Point NJC Scale 11 - £21,166 FTE (£18,485 pro rata)

Teaching Assistant – Level 2
NJC Scale 5 - £18,795 FTE Permanent – Term Time only plus 1 additional day
We have four vacancies within our Learning Support Team and seek to appoint the following:
3x posts - 29.16 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.10pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break £12,354 actual salary
1x post - 17.5 hours per week

Our Teaching Assistants work proactively to support students in carrying out their work in a calm and productive environment. They are able to work both independently and as part of a team, be enthusiastic about working with children, committed to providing help and support and be interested in how children learn. The successful candidate will join our Learning Support Team who work across all Key Stages. The closing date is 9:00am on Friday 28 June 2019. Interviews will take place week commencing 1 July 2019.
36.25 hours per week, term-time plus 5 days NJC Scale 6, £19,171 (£15,993 actual salary)
Our Cover Supervisors work proactively to communicate work set and support students in carrying out their work in the absence of teaching staff. To be successful in this they will need to feel confident that with training they will be able to direct young people in their activities, have a presence in the classroom, maintain discipline and create a calm and productive environment for learning. They are able to work both independently and as part of a team, be enthusiastic about working with children, committed to providing help and support and be interested in how children learn. We expect our Cover Supervisors to be keen to develop their own learning in this area and be able to use their initiative to progress this vital role which also support students who present behavioural difficulties, helping to build confidence and self-esteem. The closing date is 9:00 am Monday 1 July 2019 with interviews anticipated to take place later that week.
Emotional Literacy Support Assistant
Point 5 - £18,795 (actual salary - £12,358) 29.17 hours per week
This post is is a term time only position with 1 additional day and is offered on 29.17 hours per week working 8.30am to 3.10pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
The successful candidate should have a good level of education and experience of working with young people in SEN, preferably within a secondary school environment. It is desirable for applicants to have completed ELSA Training, however, training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking to appoint a team of Student Lunchtime Supervisors to work alongside staff to support the supervision of younger students during lunchtimes.
Who can apply?
- Any student who will be in Year 12 or Year 13 from September 2019
- Year 13 students can apply to work until the school Easter holidays
- Your attendance must be 95% +
- You must be someone who keep on top of their class work, ILS and homework
- You must have an excellent behaviour record
- Successful applicants must attend a 2 hour training session
