''After a long but fun packed day of dancing, face painting and hair braiding, Wolfreton students once again put on a stunning performance at the Northern Open Final at Grimsby Auditorium. The first award of the day was won by Mr Ashdown, who brought home the coveted air guitar trophy after his knock out efforts performing as a jelly fish. We have never won this award before and so were thrilled to bring it home! The Wolf pack then went on to win 11 of the 13 Awards of Excellence, which means that we scored highly in all of the following categories: soundtrack; visual enhancement; choreography; lighting; costuming character; concept; video performance; entertainment; performance skill; stage crew; set design and function. We also won an award for Healthy Lifestyles. It was finally announced that we came 3rd in the Northern Open Final! I am very proud of the students who have not only worked hard to put on such an amazing performance, but who were also so encouraging towards the other schools throughout the day.''
