A Day in the Life of a Rushanje Student








The generator is switched on. Because Rushanje is near to the Equator, there is little difference in the length of day and night. Students are awakened to the sound of the generator (seen here in the generator house) and the lights being switched on. This signals the start of the day. Time to get up, washed and dressed
