Express have a wealth of experience in exporting electrical equipment, especially to Africa and their Technical Engineer Mr Malcolm Sutton advised us on the choice of a suitable generator to meet the requirements of Rushanje and our budget.
January 2003 - Fund raising continues, and the generator is packed for shipment tto Uganda.
End of January 2003- Generator leaves Tilbury for Africa. Delivery times are quoted as 4 weeks at sea
December 2002 - Appeal goes out to parents, but is delayed at the upper school by a fire in the boiler house which closed the school a week early before Christmas.
Donations start to arrive at the school.
