The Wolfreton Rushanje Community
Partnership

Evarist is the Senior Teacher and Head of English at Rushanje.
His family own and live on a farm nearby where they grow crops and keep cattle. Evarist is also interested in conservation and has planted many trees in the area around his farm as well as around the school. His wife Agnes is the School Secretary. He acted as Master of Ceremonies when staff and students from Wolfreton visited Rushanje last year.
He generously donated a cow (Ngabo, to Derek Johnson) and a goat (Doris, to John Scott). Both animals produced offspring earlier this year.

Our Visitors to Wolfreton

Assumpta has been the Headteacher at Rushanje since 2001. She has been the primary link in the partnership and has welcomed both staff and students to Rushanje. She communicates regularly with Wolfreton and her ambition is to visit the UK.
She has two sons Aidan and Ivan and lives on site during term time but has her own house in nearby Bushenyi district. She also works
for the Ugandan Examinations Board and is responsible for the administration of external examinations in the area.
