The Dormitory Building Plan
Nov 2001 Decision to start building the dormitory block and foundations dug
Jan 2002 Some building done but project stopped due to a lack of bricks
March 2002 Decision to make bricks locally, as it is cheaper and more cost effective
May 2002 Headteacher recommends to Board of Governors that the new building be called Wolfreton House
July 2002 Wolfreton to provide a sign for the new building
September 2002 New building reaches the ring beam(eaves)
Brickwork completed, awaiting roof
October 2002 Rushanje parents invited to sponsor one iron roof sheet each
November 2002 Bank loan applied for to enable completion by end of January 2003
January 203 Roof constructed
May 2003 Landslide affects the building
September 2003 Visit to Rushanje by Derek Johnson and John Scott. Wolfreton House foundation stone laid in ceremony, Nameplate attached to wall, Tree planted to commemorate the
July 2004. Wolfreton House first phase completed by Wolfreton World Challenge team. Internal decorations, windows and dooors
