Sixth Form

Welcome to The Consortium Sixth Form College.

The Consortium Sixth Form College works together across four campuses at Cottingham, Hessle, Holderness and Wolfreton to provide a vibrant and successful community, supporting students in achieving their ambitions.

We have developed an exciting and varied range of courses that combines both new, vocational opportunities with the more traditional, long established subjects. This wide ranging offer enables our students to realise their ambitions; fulfilling their individual needs.

The Consortium Sixth Form College is friendly and welcoming. As a student with us you will experience new and different environments making it an ideal opportunity to make new friends. You will be treated as an individual and provided with all the support needed to help you achieve your aspirations. The quality of teaching delivered is of a very high standard and you can gain extra skills from our enrichment programme which also provide some light hearted fun!.

Throughout the year, all four campuses are a hive of social activity. The Student Council is actively involved in this, developing new ideas and supporting the management and leadership of the sixth form. You too can play an active part by becoming involved, planning, and organising fun events and activities for everyone to get stuck into.

Whether it’s a themed charity fundraising day, a BBQ or that all important final year prom, you can be sure that you’ll want to be a part of something that’s going on! Students can also take on the student ambassador role supporting subject areas and events such as open evenings.

‘After so much hard work, we are delighted to see students going on to their first choice universities, with destinations including Oxford and Durham, as well as popular more local universities such as Leeds, York, Manchester and Newcastle. It is testament to the effort put in by both students and staff over the last two years.’

As young adults, Sixth Form students are valued members of Wolfreton. They are provided with the opportunity to take on more responsibility for, and independence in, their learning. Whether you are currently at Wolfreton, or considering joining us for your sixth form years, we look forward to helping you realise your ambitions. If you would like to arrange to visit our Sixth Form to experience our vibrant learning culture and facilities for yourself, please contact the Sixth Form team on 01482 659356 or email enquiries@wolfreton.co.uk putting Mrs L Taylor, Assistant Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form or Mrs R Magson, Sixth Form Student Services Manager in the Subject line.
