Language classes for adults and families
We work in collboration with the Hessle and Wolfreton Adult Education Centre to provide a range of language classes for adults and families.

The Language College subsidises from its community funding those classes with small numbers which would otherwise be declared uneconomic. We also provide training for Adult Education tutors in the use of interactive whiteboards.
Holiday activities for families
We support Adult Education in the delivery of a range of Language and Culture Experiences for families in the holidays. The activities vary each time and have included:
- Salsa Dancing for Beginners
- ¡Hola! Make yourself known in Spanish
- Construct a Leaning Tower of Pisa
- Make a Swedish Model Horse
- Pasta-making
- Polish papercraft
- Create a German gingerbread house
The next Language and Culture experience is planned for October half term (2009), when families will be able to try their hands at making Spanish mosaics, Dutch windmills, and foreign cuisine. Look out for publicity and book your places early – space is limited!
Business Language Classes
We work with the Regional Languages Network helpling them to source tutors to deliver language classes to local businesses on request.
