Welcome to Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College. Wolfreton is one of the largest 11-18 community secondary schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire with over 1700 students on roll.

We are a specialist Language school and as a consequence place great importance on the study of modern foreign languages. Our recent Ofsted inspection recognised our achievements and although overall we were rated as satisfactory it was felt ‘that we were rapidly improving’. Our aim remains to become an ‘Outstanding’ school.

In year 11 in 2011 61% of our students achieved the Gold Standard of 5 or more A* - C grade GCSEs including English and Mathematics. In terms of 5+A*-C over 86% achieved this standard, these results build on the progress we have made over recent years. Our curriculum was rated by Ofsted (March 2009) as Good and we recognise the link between appropriate courses and good teaching which lead to good student behaviour and high achievement.
